Replacement Filter for the Austin Air HealthMate Plus
The HealthMate Plus filter needs replacing after five long years. Your air still needs to be fresh and clean so you need to order the replacement filter. The replacement filter is designed to last up to 5 years under normal residential use just like the first one. No need to worry about that!
Not quite sure of the size of your filter? Look for a label on the bottom of the unit and Model HM400 indicates standard size filter. Measure the filter size, which should be 14.5" high, if still not certain. Or give us a call to help.

The HealthMate Plus Replacement Filter Has 4 Stages of Filtration
Stage 1 — Acting as the first line of defense in the filtration process, the large particle pre-filter removes particles easily seen by the naked eye. Dust, hair, and pet dander are a few that this pre-filter is able to capture.
Stage 2 — The small to medium size particles (e.g. molds, pollen, and spores) are captured by the medium particle pre-filter. The two pre-filters allow the Carbon and HEPA filters to perform better and last longer.
Stage 3 — The Carbon filter has over 780 cubic inches of Activated Carbon, Potassium Iodide Impregnated Carbon, and Zeolite. You can be sure your home or office will be free from VOCs, formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases, and odors after the carbon filter adsorbs all of these.
Stage 4 — The True Medical Grade HEPA removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns. The HEPA filter, with an industry-leading 60 sq. ft., was developed by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission and is highly effective.
